I am very excited today. As a final year student I can say that we have really passed through a lot. There have been difficult moments indeed where teachers were willing to teach or help us but the teaching materials were not available. At one point we used to have the feeling that we would not do well in the final exams. Because, we did not have access to most of the textbooks we have received today I. The various classes. Where it is available, only the teacher will have it and the students will not hence the teacher would have to copy it on the board. It is time consuming and tiring. It stresses our teachers a lot. I remember that for technical drawing, our teacher has to use the desk and drawing sheet of one of us to teach us all. To be sincere it was very difficult for me to understand and practice what he taught us. We have not received this kind of donation from any institution before. This is the first of its kind and it came at the right time. Thank you very much and we promise we will learn and win educational competitions organized in our zone from now on.

We have identified that there were a lot of farms in this community that are unproductive. The reason is that farmers are having large acres of farm and do not have the financial capacity to maintain all of them. This has over the years increased the poverty level in the community. As a group we discussed with Touton what we could do to improve the situation. Thus providing farm services to support the farmers and they were happy. Touton took it up and brought CHED officers here to train us on performing the agronomic practices properly. The officers of Touton then promised us that they would assist us with the required tools and equipment to commence the service. However from December 2024 we have been helping some farmers to prune and weeding their farms. We can affirm the demand is very high and a lot of farmers are inviting us to prune their farms but for now we are not able to meet their demand. Testimonies For now we cannot boast of any testimonies because the farms we started pruning would only produce a result at the end of the season. However, the farmers are happy with the enthusiasm we attach to watching what we are doing and more importantly how the farmers look after we work in it. Tt Challenges Our biggest challenge now is that we are not being able to meet the demand of farmers due to the lack of equipment and required tools We do not have any means of transportation to ease our movement to and fro the farms we are and will be pruning. As service providers, we are highly motivated by our own ability to prune and weeding to the satisfaction of others and more especially the result we are having from our own farms. We are able to harvest double bags of cocoa per acre in farms that we have pruned. Hence we are convinced that when the aforementioned challenges are addressed we will reduce dependency and increase yield of farmers rapidly. Not only that but we will eliminate all the black disease as we prune the unproductive farms that are being affected by the disease.
